About Us
Belladonna Cult started with a pretty simple idea: I wanted one vivid line that had everything I actually wanted to use, instead of constantly hopping between brands depending on the shade or the product. I'm a complex person that likes simplicity, what can I say?
As a stylist with autism and POTS, accessibility and ease of use were important to me from the beginning. I chose a larger cap because it’s easier to grab and open (I'm also looking at all of you long nail baddies), and I went with pouches because I was very done with cutting tubes apart just to get every last bit of product out.
I also wanted this brand to support other small artists whenever possible. All of the artwork for Belladonna Cult was created by JaxTheCatalyst, who brought the whole weird little world of this line to life. A full page about him and his work is coming soon.
Everything is vegan and cruelty-free, obviously. We’re already making questionable hair decisions, we don’t need to make questionable moral ones too.
Belladonna Cult was made by the weirdos, for the weirdos, but it’s for everyone. No gatekeeping, no fitting into a certain box, just damn good color and a brand that lets you be as loud, dark, bright, strange, or somewhere in between as you want.

About the artist
Jordan, also known as JaxtheCatalyst, is a Connecticut-based artist. While Jax explores a variety of subjects, his forte is dark surrealist drawings. His work incorporates familiar imagery, however, it is skewed and abstracted to fit within the themes of social commentary and mental health. Jax challenges the audience to consider more deeply when viewing his art; why were particular elements chosen to be portrayed in such ways.
